Spinster wheeling it like it is
battered and bruised from
years of deception
claustrophobic from years of angst
shattered down the spine
eeking out a trivial existance
left in the dust
reality exists in yesterdays
half-heartedly gives up on faith
only to realize
she never had it
times were never happy
only agony and defeat
at the hands of a man

Scared
Windswept meadows delivering promise,
Pewter blades have no effect,
Overpowered by sheer beauty,
Was more that he could expect.
Eyes gaze at themselves,
Sauntering off into the blue,
Withholding all that is good,
Remembering all that was true.
Drifting slowly into a fairy tale,
Sparrow breaks the silence,
Living in the moment,
Thunder now heard in the distance.
Tumblers comming to the forefront,
Time seems to stand still,
Lights flash with horror,
Spine starts to tingle, body starts to chill.

I wrote this after my children's daycare provider informed me that her son had passed away. Very Sad.
I never gave it a title.
Untitled
Overcome with feelings of sadness
Yearning for lost time never spent
remembering the good times
wondering where he went.
Life hurts too much
can't find the strength
but for a moment in time
avoiding joys once loved at great length.
Restitution lies ahead
willing it to be
you must keep the faith
a greater power wishes you could see.
Time to once again start living
Full circle it will come
be happy and rejoice now
for one day, you will again embrace your son.
I never gave it a title.

Sorry!
This is a poem I wrote about a friend of mine who was having some problems in his personal life. I know it sounds like I am contemplating suicide, but that is not what this is about(just wanted to clarify this).
Sorry!
Trigger on the gun,
Can't find the courage,
Shmack dab alley.
That's where it needs to be.
Rattle around,
Messin' things up,
Major damage,
Still alive.
Fu**ed up,
Nothin's that bad,
Too late now,
Bullets rattlin in my head.

Brown Eyed Girl
Reality altered by temptation
Brown eyed girl has control
Imagination's limits tested
Late night escapades eatin at your soul
Silky smooth shows up
Furious and fast
Blood pumps quicker
Not sure how long I can last.
Danger lurks at every glance
Recklessly freebird flies
The night grows darker
Doesn't want come down from the sky.
But at last it all must be done
Shake, rattle and roll
See ya next week
Time to crawl back in my hole.

My Son
This is a poem that I wrote for my Son on his 4th birthday. I was watching him from accross the room and was overcome with emotion. Enjoy!
My Son
Your blue eyes light up my soul,
Your smile makes sadness fade away,
Your curiosity keeps my mind pure,
4 years ago today was a very special day.
Your kind heart lifts my spirits,
Your hugs and kisses make me want to stay,
Hearing, Daddy!, Daddy!,It's always the best part of the day.
You are my son,Nothing can ever take that from me,
I cherish every moment,
It's the one thing I can truely see.

Lost Soul
This is a poem I wrote for my Daughter. She passed away at 6 months from a rare heart/lung disease. Her name was Courtney.
Lost Soul
Thoughts branching off to nowhere
Can't seem to get it right
Black sky falls upon us
Turning sunny days to night
Echos stir from deep inside
Waiting for the bells to chime
Rockets blast another dance
Storm brings out the sands of time
Can't forget the days of yore
Memories won't fade away
Children lie asleep at night
So sad she had to fade away
